As a local government or school official, you understand how important tax dollars are to your community. In addition to paying the salaries of government workers, tax dollars also help to support common resources in our communities.

Submit Your Accounts for Collection

Current clients may upload their accounts via a secure connection right here on the website.

Steps to Submit Your Account:

1. Download and complete the STR Client Template with your collection account details.

2. Submit your accounts for collection (requires user account/password).

If you do not yet have a user account, contact us to request access.

Collection Process for School Districts

1. Tax collector submits delinquent list for non-paying taxpayers to School Board for exoneration.

2. School Board approval for tax collector exoneration and turnover of accounts to Statewide Tax Recovery, LLC (STR).

3. School District (SD) business office prepares list and transmits to STR.

4. STR places accounts into system and forwards account acknowledgement.

5. Collection process by STR begins.

6. Monthly remittance of collections is sent to SD business manager.

7. Exoneration forms and proof are sent to business office for deceased, non-resident and low income.

   
   

Collection Process for Counties and Municipalities

1. Tax collector(s) submit list for non-paying/delinquent residents to Client for exoneration.

2. Commissioners/Supervisors approve tax collector exoneration of delinquent tax bills and turnover bills to Statewide Tax Recovery, LLC (STR).

3. Treasurer/Assessor office prepares delinquent tax list and transmits list to STR.

4. STR receives list and places accounts into system.

5. STR forwards account acknowledgement to Client.

6. Collection process by STR begins.

7. Monthly remittance of collections is sent to Client along with status reports.

8. Exoneration forms and proof are sent to Client by STR for deceased, non-resident and/or low income.
